pretty decent

Heya man, Nice track. Intricate melodies, nicely put together. I'm not keen on the drum samples, they sound a bit hollow. Even a touch of reverb on them would probably go somewhere towards phattening them up. A nice phat snare would improve the beat considerably. Try layering several samples.

Sounds like theres some clipping happening as well. The bassline seems to be competing with the kick drum in some places, it kind of muds out a bit. Also, purely from a taste point of view, i think this track is screaming out for some big sweeping pads in the backround.

I'm on my second loop now (its playing as I write this) I notice that the clipping distortion comes in when the dnb bit comes in at about 1:35 til about 2:17 if this is by design, you should maybe limit the distortion to only the bassline, and not the drums.

Again, Nicely done mate. keep it up!

thanks for the review and tips :), i have been working on finding and making really great breakbeat percussion, it is very hard to get the thick yet pop sound. the bass is distorted on purpose :), i like saws. thanks for your time and effort, much appreciated!

Bpm needs to be at least 168 for dnb....but thats mere technicalities.

well done man, nice melodies, pretty decent production qualities, except that bassline comes in a bit strong at 2:10

I've listenend to a few of your remixes now, and I've noticed one thing.....not one of them has the acapellas? Have you tried looking for them?

I've got the clean vocals for most of the tracks of yours i've listened to. This remix would sound way more complete if you'd put the vocals in it too.

The original has a keychange (transposes up 2 semis) at about 3/4 through the track. I think that would have been a nice touch to keep that :)

Nicely done!

Well produced, sidechained ducking effect sounds great!. Its a little lively at the top end on my krk8's. But overall the mixdown is pretty good, professional sounding

I think its the sample you've used for the piano. It seems a bit intrusive. Melodically the track is interesting.

The drop and build @ 4:30 sounds good.

Overall, this is really well done!

This track starts off like its gonna have a nice early 90's ragga sort of feel to it. but then it doesnt go anywhere :-S theres absolutely no bass at all, just a simple melody that pretty much repeats.

I dont think the acapella fits very well at all.

put some tearing bassline in there..or at least a sub sine or something.

mid 90's SNES music!?

its not too bad.. it sounds very "loose" and it doesnt really fit into the drum and bass catagory very well. you need more fx...delays, chorus, reverbs...you also imho need to use quantise, and at least manually adjust those notes into time...unless of course youw ere trying to get that "loose" sound.

instruments all sound too "GM" for me too..

I wish I had the tools available to me to have started producing at your age man :) When i started it was scream tracker and a 386DX33 pc....didn't allow for a lot of flexibility!
